a coquette-inspired coffee brand for those who crave beauty, excess, and the art of indulgence.

The Velvet Hour brand essence is 

Inspired by the imagery of Aphrodite emerging from the sea on the half shell, we built a color palette of muted cerulean, sea foam green, muted absinthe, and blush pink. We layered in Renaissance-style paintings for texture alongside rococo style patterns with a fresh spin on coquette and grandmillennial aesthetics, creating a brand that feels girly, flirty, and ripe with the beauty of Aphrodite in an unexpected way that goes beyond the cliché pinks and reds for a result that feels irresistibly dangerous.

Brand Strategy

Velvet Hour has two goals at the forefront: expanding into retail with a standout product line and rising to the top of an oversaturated coffee industry. To achieve this, we created truly irresistible packaging that stops customers in their tracks as they walk by, paired with a visual brand identity so enchanting and hypnotic it acts like a siren call, solidifying Velvet Hour as an unmistakable voice in the coffee world that customers can't help but be drawn to.
