In an industry saturated with safe serif fonts and muted blues, we wanted Cakewalk to be completely un-ignorable. We built the brand identity around the story of 'a little treat,' aiming to create a brand that delivers the same dopamine hit as an afternoon latte or a fresh-baked cookie, giving burnt-out therapists an instant burst of energy and excitement that lets them know immediately: this is the answer to their overwhelm. We brought that feeling to life through a bright, cheery color palette, bold in-your-face typography, and endearing illustrations of classic little treats like gummy bears and conversation hearts, creating a dopamine-fueled brand experience that is as refreshing as it is impossible to ignore.

Brand Strategy

Cakewalk's biggest goal was to scale from a solo VA operation into a true agency model. When Stephanie came to us, her business was booming but she was overwhelmed, having built her brand under her own name in a way that made clients only want to work with her directly. To fix this, we created a bold, memorable brand identity that makes Cakewalk itself the star, taking the spotlight off Stephanie and placing it on the brand. The result is a brand so compelling and irresistible that clients are drawn to Cakewalk as an agency, giving Stephanie the freedom to grow her team and scale her business without losing the trust and loyalty of her clients.
